Rhode Island Juvederm Treatment

Facial wrinkles as we get older occur as underlying collagen and elastin fibers begin to break down in the skin. This tends to happen often in areas of excessive recurring facial expression such as the brow area, crows feet area, or lip area. Additionally, as the skin and soft tissues begin to sag, deep folds can occur. This can be especially evident in the crease next to the nose and cheek and the lip area. Juvederm can be used to fill these lines and folds. Until recently, the only filler available was collagen. Collagen is not for everyone as it has the potential side effect of allergic reactions.

The main difference between Juvederm and other popular hyaluronic acid fillers is that Juvederm has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid, and is produced with a special formulation process that makes it smoother than other popular gels. These gels utilize a suspension process, with particles that can be visibly seen, while Juvederm is completely transparent.

The procedure takes just about 30 minutes, and the results are immediate and with minimal discomfort.  Juvederm can be combined with Botox, to help revitalize your appearance by sculpting the face.
