About Micropeels

Micropeel treatments are for patients who want a, simple pain-free way to reduce facial wrinkles, age spots and unevenness and redness of the skin. The micropeel uses gentle peeling agents and cryogenic therapy to remove a micro-thin top layer of skin. The top layer is a significant obstruction to having better skin because of clogged pores and accumulated dead skin. Layers of dead skin cells are exfoliated and are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface.

The Micropeel Procedure

A micropeel is a three step procedure which involves exfoliation, application of a light peeling solution, and then cryogenic therapy to freeze off a micro-thin layer of skin. Afterwards, moisturizing cream will be applied to sooth your skin. The procedure takes just about 30 minutes, and the results are immediate and with minimal discomfort.

Similar to a facial, we recommend a monthly treatment. Depending on your skin type, however, treatments two times per month may produce a more dramatic result. However, unlike a facial, most people will notice a change in the skin right away. You can apply your makeup immediately following the procedure.

During your consultation our trained skin care professionals will review your treatment options, including pros and cons of micropeel treatments, potential risks and complications, recovery course, pre and post treatment instructions, and aesthetic outcomes.
