Office Reopening Update

Posted on May 1, 2020 Latest News

Dear Patient Family,

We hope you are staying healthy, safe and taking care of yourself during these uncertain times. Our goal is to reopen the practice on Monday, May 11th. Please contact the office if you have not rescheduled an appointment that you may have scheduled prior to this date.

Again, this is our tentative date pending Governor Raimondo’s executive order. Please be mindful that we take SAFETY as the highest priority as we follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting before and after EVERY patient as we have done in the past.

PLEASE PREPARE FOR YOUR UPCOMING VISIT TO OUR PRACTICE! If you are a new patient or a patient that has not been in the practice for more than two years, please fill out our new patient paperwork by printing it and bringing it with you to the office to save time. Note: Please bring all five forms with you.

Please call when you arrive in our parking lot, where a member of our team will COME TO YOUR VEHICLE when they are available. You can expect to have your temperature taken and be asked to sign the appropriate consent/questionnaire prior to entering the practice. PLEASE COME ALONE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT to help minimize the amount of people in the office at one time. No children or pets please. There will also be no public restroom available during your visit. Please bear with us if there is an extended wait as we will be trying our best to move patients through the office with safety as the priority.

No patient at any time will be allowed in the practice without a mask or face covering. Face covering must cover both the nose and mouth safely. Please come to our office without makeup if you are having a facial treatment. Remember to avoid dental procedures including cleanings two weeks before or after filler injections. To minimize bruising discontinue aspirin or NSAIDS and supplements like fish oil or Omega fatty acids one week prior to treatment.

If you have traveled from ANY state or country outside of Rhode Island via plane, car, bus or train in the past two weeks, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. This also applies if you have been asked to quarantine or if you have been in contact with someone that is in quarantine or has traveled in the past two weeks.

If you have been in contact with someone that has been diagnosed/treated in the past two weeks with COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment. If you are not feeling well, please reschedule. “Not feeling well” includes cough, cold, fever, chills, difficulty breathing, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell etc.

You can expect to see our team wearing gowns, gloves, masks and shields while in the office for their safety and the safety of our patients. We are unable to give masks to our patients due to our limited supply.

Again, we ask for your patience as we strive to give the very best care to our patients in the SAFEST environment possible! You will also be receiving a follow-up phone call the week prior to your appointment to confirm that you have received our instructions via email and that you understand the new protocols in their entirety.

Stay positive and stay in touch,
